AAH all Highway

The AAH_all_Highway feature class displays Adopt-A-Highway sites as highway segments for the entire California State Highway Network, merged from all 12 Caltrans districts into one statewide layer. It is produced by the AAH application-to-feature pipeline, which ingests each district's GIS join query exports (D##_qry_GIS_Join_EN1 and _WS1), drops personally identifiable applicant contact fields, and generates line geometry by linear referencing each site's begin and end postmiles along the State Highway Network centerline (SHN_lines) using the Caltrans LRS measureToGeometry REST operation. Each travel direction on a divided highway is derived from the source direction and placed as a separate feature on its own alignment; directions are never merged. The map status class (Status_Pub, aliased 'Status') is derived by the pipeline's reclassification step from the source adoption status, with 'Vacant (NSR)' promoted to 'Available Pending Site Review'. The published schema is a curated subset for public display: feature key (id_AHH_Join), district, county, route, begin/end postmile and postmile span (pm_span_mi), direction, city, begin/end postmile landmark descriptions, location type, maintenance region, and the derived public status (Status_Pub, aliased 'Status'). Source applicant, contact, and group fields are not included. Sites with real postmile length (pm_span_mi greater than zero) are placed in this layer; single-postmile 'other location' sites are placed in the companion AAH_all_other_loc point layer. Approximately 99.4% of source rows are successfully placed statewide. The layer is establish-then-update: the schema is created on the first run and subsequently truncated and reloaded. Spatial reference follows the SHN_lines source; confirm before publishing.
