Convert existing Chico Park & Ride into a multimodal transit hub with parking structure and 1st floor commercial services, ITS and complete streets improvements

In Sacramento County on Route 99 from Dillard Road to Oak Park Separation (Br# 24-0231) and on Route 51 from Oak Park Separation to 0.1 mile north of Exposition Blvd OC (Br# 24-0285).

Re-evaluate the current HOV2+ managed lane strategy on SR 99/51 to determine which managed lane strategy will operate most efficiently while also maintaining speeds above the 45mph managed lane requirement set by FHWA.

In Placer, Sacramento, and Yolo County from approx. 0.9 mile east of Rocklin Road UC (Br # 19-94) to WB off to EB Rte 50.

Planning activites for a new Interchange at S Beale Rd, with extension to Forty Mile Rd.

In Solano, Yolo, and Sacramento Counties on Routes 80 and 50

Repurpose #1GP Lane for a dual toll lane system in each direction.

Located between the Bay Farm Island Bridge in the city of Alameda and Airport Drive/Airport Access Road in the city of Oakland, this project incorporates sea level rise adaptation and closes two gaps in the Bay Trail.


Implement sea level rise (SLR) adaptation improvements and close two gaps in the San Francisco Bay Trail network.


Interstate 80 in Alameda and Contra Costa counties, between the I-80/I-580/I-880 separation and State Route 4.

Construct a regional trail facility in the Route 84 / Decoto Road corridor.


In Alameda County, from the San Mateo-Hayward Bridge toll plaza to Clawiter Road.


Implement sea level rise (SLR) adaptation improvements to address rising sea levels and storm surge impacting the eastern approach of the San Mateo/Hayward Bridge.


In Alameda County, on SR-92 in Hayward, from 0.1 mile east of Breakwater Point of Contact (POC) to 0.5 mile east of Clawiter Road overcrossing.


Extend Whitesell Street over SR-92 to create a new SR-92/Whitesell interchange and modify the existing SR-92/Clawiter interchange in the city of Hayward.


In Alameda County, in Albany, Berkeley, Emeryville, and Oakland, on Route 123 from the junction with Route 580 to the Contra Costa County line.


Improve mobility, efficiency, and safety on San Pablo Avenue.

Construct a new bicycle/pedestrian path connection between west Oakland and the bike path leading to the east span of the San Francisco Oakland Bay Bridge in Oakland.

Construct a bicycle/pedestrian overcrossing (BPOC) across I-880.

Multimodal transportation improvement in El Cerrito in the San Pablo Ave Del Norte area (San Pablo Ave, East Blvd, Hill St, Cutting Blvd, Knott Ave).


In Contra Costa County, on Route 580 from PM 6.1 to PM 7.8, and in Marin County on Route 580 from PM 0.0 to PM 2.6.

Richmond San Rafael Bridge deck replacement.

I-680 between Ygnacio Valley Road and Alcosta Boulevard in Contra Costa County.

This project includes signing and pavement marking, minor shoulder widening in limited locations, barrier modifications, and any necessary electrical improvements.

In Marin County, in Marin City, at Manzanita Park-and-Ride lot, on Route 1 at the Route 1/101 separation, and on Route 101 from Donahue Street to the Route 1/101 separation.


To address current flooding and sea level rise.


In Marin County on US 101 in and near San Rafael at various location from 0.1 mile north of West Front Road connector to 0.3 mile north of Pacheco Creek Overcrossing

Operational improvements to 3 interchanges and approaching roadways on US 101 in Marin County, including enhanced transit services, safety improvements for bicycle/pedestrian access through the interchange, and circulation and signal improvements.

At the intersections on the State Route (SR) 29 corridor in Napa Valley, at Oakville Cross Road, Rutherford Road, and Madison Street.


In the city and county of San Francisco, along I-280 from the Alemany Blvd off-ramp to Boutwell St, and below US-101 at Gaven St.


Lower Alemany stormwater improvement: tunneling to install a 10-foot inner diameter sewer conveyance system.


In San Mateo County, along SR 84 (SM-84-R27.50/R29.75), between Willow Road (SR 114) and the Dumbarton Bridge west approach on the San Francisco Bay shoreline in southern San Mateo County.


Implement sea level rise (SLR) adaptation improvements.


In San Mateo county in San Bruno on SR 101 at San Bruno overcrossing

Reconfigure the partial cloverleaf to a compact diamond layout. The project also includes a proposed free-flow right turn lane onto I-380, bypassing the tight signal intersection.

In San Mateo County, on State Route 280, at Alpine Road, PM R0.044 to R0.085.


Install new traffic signals or roundabouts at I-280 ramp intersections and eliminate the right turn from the southbound I-280 exit ramp to southbound Alpine Road.


In Santa Clara County, in the city of Mountain View, at and near the Shoreline Boulevard interchange.


Construct a new bicycle and pedestrian overcrossing.


Located in unincorporated Santa Clara County, east of San Jose, along Alum Rock Avenue (SR 130), between Manning Ave/Millar Ave and Mt. Hamilton Road (PM 2.31 to PM 3.59).


Construct bicycle facilities and pedestrian facilities to fill existing gaps, including new sidewalks and shared bike/pedestrian paths. Improve intersection crossings, landscaping, and shared street features along the frontage roadway.


In Santa Clara County, on SR 237 in the city of Sunnyvale, from west of Java Drive to east of Lawrence Expressway.


Modify both interchanges’ on- and off-ramps. Upgrade local roadways to current standards.


I-880/Montague Expressway interchange and the McCarthy/O’Toole intersection in the cities of San Jose and Milpitas in Santa Clara County.


Improve operations on Montague Expressway and I-880. Modify the existing interchange on I-880 at Montague Expressway in the city of San Jose. Make modifications to the McCarthy/O’Toole intersection at Montague Expressway in the cities of San Jose and Milp

Construct new sidewalks to fill existing gaps and improve existing sidewalks to meet ADA compliance, construct pedestrian facilities to cross Agua Caliente Creek, and construct necessary crosswalks and retaining structures.

In Monterey County, in and near the City of Chular and Salinas, on US 101 between Main St and Abbott St

On-and off-system improvements to upgrade local roads with roundabouts adjacent to the existing Main Street/US 101 and Abbott Street/US 101 interchanges. Improve traffic flow and close the median on US 101 from Chualar to Salinas.

In Monterey County, in and near the City of Gonzales on US 101 at
5th street.

The project proposes to construct intersection improvements on both sides of the
US 101 - 5th Street Interchange. This will improve vehicular flow and enhance safety for pedestrians, bicyclists, and motorists.

SR 218 from SR 1 to Fremont Blvd in City of Seaside, Monterey County

Implement biking, walking, transit, and ZEV improvements.

In Santa Cruz County from Henry Cowell Redwood State Park to northerly Junction of SR 9/236

Construct operational improvements and complete streets elements, from Henry Cowell Redwood State Park (PM 4) to northerly junction of SR 9/236 (PM 20.827).

In Santa Cruz County, in and near the City of Watsonville on SR 152 at Freedom Blvd.

Conduct Intersection Control Evaluation (ICE) or an Intersection Safety and Operation Assessment Process (ISOAP) and implement enhancements. Coordinate with 05-1P110 and 2023 DWSP.

State Route 152 and State Route 129 at the Salsipuedes Creek.

The project proposes to raise levees along the Pajaro River and Salsipuedes Creek and proposes to raise the profile and replace the SR-152 (36-0001) and SR-129 (36-0034) bridges over Salsipuedes Creek.

In Fresno County 1.3 miles north of the Fresno/Kings County line, at the Coalinga-Avenal Safety Roadside Rest Area.

In Districts 2, 3, 6, and 10, going through the following counties: Colusa, Fresno, Glenn, Kern, Merced, Sacramento, Shasta, Siskiyou, Stanislaus, Tehama, and Yolo at various locations on Route  5.

Increase infrastructure resiliency to climate events, restore natural habitat, improve wildlife connectivity, and implement first mile-last mile gap closure improvements for complete streets

In the city of Cathedral City, from Date Palm Drive interchange to 2,000 feet east of Bob Hope Drive interchange.


This project will include the addition of bridges over I-10 and the Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR), as well as street extension and widening along Da Vall Drive.

Interchange improvements to Bundy Canyon Road, including widening the existing on- and off-ramps, adding new traffic signals, widening the local road, adding Class II and Class IV bike lanes, and improving sidewalks.
