Medi-Cal Long-Term Services and Support Annual Data

Summary file of statewide annual rates for 2017 – 2022 as of December 2024. Long-Term Services and Support (LTSS) refers to critical long-term care (LTC) facilities and home and community-based service (HCBS) programs that support older adults and people with disabilities through the Medi-Cal (California’s version of Medicaid) program. DHCS is making LTSS data available using a phased approach. The initial iteration of the LTSS data was released in December 2022 with 40 measures describing beneficiaries who used various LTSS services. Please note: Absolute change is calculated as the difference between 2017 and 2022 unless there is a * before the value. In this case, the absolute change is calculated as the difference between 2019 and 2022 because data was not available for those measures in 2017 and 2018.
