CMS Requirements for Total Enrollment Performance Indicators

This document outlines the groups that are defined by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Performance Indicators (CMSPI) reporting requirements. The Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) submits eligibility and enrollment data regarding Medicaid and CHIP monthly to CMS that is the basis for the Medi-Cal Enrollment by Eligibility Group data set.
