Healthy Places Index (HPI) Diagnosis Group by Setting and Patient Category

This table provides counts and percentages of diagnoses by hospital setting (inpatient discharges and emergency department). Statewide counts and percentages are broken down into subgroups based on patient's HPI percentile ranking (based on ZIP code of residence; see map.healthyplacesindex.org for details) and four diagnosis groups: mental health disorders, substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders, and all other diagnoses. The patients are also subdivided into categories: age group, race/ethnicity group , expected payer, and sex.
