Physicians by Specialty and Activity Hours
This dataset contains aggregated responses from the Medical Board of California and Osteopathic Board of California physician survey incorporated into the license renewal process. The dataset is limited to physicians whose license was in “Current” or “License Renewal Fees Paid” status as of April 3, 2024.

Physicians by Specialty and Patient Care Hours This dataset is a subset of data from the Medical Board of California and Osteopathic Medical Board of California's Physician Survey. The physician survey data responses are self-reported by the physician. The dataset includes the number of licensees by primary specialty and number of hours spent providing patient care, who have a license in "Current" or "License Renewal Fees Paid" status.
