These data include sea otter behavior codes, drone altitudes, sea otter demographic information, and environmental conditions. This project involved documenting sea otter behaviors in the absence and presence of a quadcopter drone to determine the impact of the drone on sea otter behavior. The purpose of the project was to inform guidelines for minimizing drone disturbance to sea otters. This data and metadata were submitted by California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) Staff though the Data Management Plan (DMP) framework with the id: DMP000734.
